Not fully yet. I still like to put my own, unique spin on the story I'm telling. For me, the adoption of Gen AI in Finance/Accounting is a process that I am slowly building up towards it.SVP Corporate Audit in Energy and Utilities8 months ago
I've tried a couple of use cases. I had a big conference and asked AI to write an opening conference speech for a head of audit, I got my main structure down and it helped the storytelling from that perspective. We haven't gotten into the stage of asking AI to look at data at the moment and trying to get insights from that. However, it's on a use-case plan that we need to do. We have just got our instance of chat GPT, which is necessary because of the security issues of putting audit reports into such a public space. We're still in the early stages, but we have a use case that we're trying to investigate, which is getting AI to give us insight from big data pools. we're also in the process of developing an AI Audit Assistant which will streamline the whole report writing process but again it's at an early stage.
There's a tonne of tools out there, and as much as they might help you frame and structure a scenario, you'll still have to put the effort in to tell a compelling story.
