How have you managed flexibility and Standardization while building a platform that is driven by Master data setup? I am building a SaaS-based task workflow platform that captures steps and time taken to perform a task in a GBS setting. By design the platform is configurable, but we are seeing the flexibility is consuming time to maintain master data setup.

The more flexibility you give, the more complex your system will become. Better is if in your MVP you start with giving flexibility which is more relevant and not available in other products and then proceed further at later stage. Also, don't forget to have experienced architect to work upon this
