It depends on the desired result.

Prompt engineering to automate workflows may require more technical knowledge.

While prompt engineering for sales and marketing may require a more nuanced understanding of your ideal client profile.

The question to ask is:  What are we trying to accomplish? Efficiencies? Sales? Both?

Today I don't see that as an immediate need. However, I do think that the need will arise in the next year or two. I think it's a trend that's going to escalate much faster than some other things we’ve seen. It is not going away, and I do think there are a lot of use cases that probably haven't even been thought of thus far, so I definitely see this in the next year or so.
