What are the most effective metrics and activities that drive a strong working relationship between reps (Sales and CS) that share the same accounts?

Whilst Sales and CS may have separate individual measures related to their roles, in order to ensure effective alignment on accounts it is important that the revenue targets for these accounts are an element of both Sales and CS reps overall measures/targets. In my experience this leads to the best working relationships.

Shared comp structures based on customer expansion/upsell revenue and clarity in roles/tasks for each person in managing the customer.
