When is it worth investing in VR for virtual meeting environments?

I think it's too immature at the moment. The realities themselves remind me of Second Life when that first came out ages ago. Then there are for example additional platform costs, hardware, software, increased internet bandwidth, headsets, and liability insurance in case someone forgets where they are and gets hurt (fall down the stairs as an example).CIO in Healthcare and Biotecha year ago
It's going to be a while. There is a real difficulty when wearing a headset for extended periods of time, along with the attempt to imitate a personal connection. People need human connection. If that isn't possible, substituting virtual avatars isn't a great alternative. It will eventually get there, to where we can see facial expressions and body language, but that will be a bit.
