When we first introduced AI, there was definitely some hesitation, particularly around data privacy and security. This was especially true given the increasing stringency of privacy laws like GDPR. However, as product heads, technology heads, and top leadership, we played a significant role in evangelizing the technology, demystifying it, and discussing its benefits and drawbacks. Over the past year, we've really embraced the ethical use cases and have built trust by focusing on use cases that have been commercially successful in our industry.

The response has been somewhat mixed. For example, Microsoft 365 copilot, which we use internally, has been well-received for its ability to summarize and provide action items. However, there are still issues with the basic functionality of the tools we use, like Microsoft Teams. This raises an interesting question about when AI shifts from being a disruptor to a necessity, and how foundational functionality is still crucial.
