Does your company recognize some of the international “holidays” such as National Women’s Day as a paid holiday? If so, how is that being received? How many paid holidays does your company have?

No, and my personal opinion is 'where do you draw the line' every day or 'moments that matter' as we call them is different for every person. You have to respect cultures, gender, race, religion etc. if you want to do this in the most inclusive way. Paid holidays differ per country, in Belgium we have 27 in France there are 40 so not a one size fits all.HR Manager6 months ago
no. we do not recognize with time off. we do try and celebrate some of those days in other ways -lunches, donuts, signs around the office, emails, etc. We have 10 paid holidays that are pretty US standard (New years, MLK, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving day + day after, Christmas Day + Day after (or day before)

We have standard paid company holidays and we designate other days to observe or celebrate throughout the year that support our inclusive culture, such as International Women's Day. We observed IWD this year by hosting virtual panel discussions with women from across our organization and sharing educational resources throughout Women's History Month (March in the U.S.).
