Redesigning roles is both fun and stressful. It's a catch-22 situation recalibrating employees. The employees generally tend to stick to their comfort zones and would want to stay confined to their roles. Experimenting with new avenues, getting cross-trained, and being part of succession planning is something managers would struggle to achieve.
