This is a great question to use in the icebreaker in a team meeting. It depends on the individual's personality. I am an extrovert and energized by in-person meetings. I tend to read the soft cues and body language while conversing, which is extremely hard to do in a virtual meeting.

That's interesting because I'm introverted which is why I prefer in person, I read soft cues* to know I'm on track, which as you said is very hard in virtual

I cant look around the room, see the recipients body language, and other ques that I am being engaging. Much harder to tell, especially when cameras are off and audience is muted
