Though expensive, my experience using 3rd party agencies allows us to have a great 1st and 2nd sober thought on key talent, internal and external, which has become all the more crucial over the past 34 monthsDirector in Manufacturinga year ago
We don’t typically do contracts with individuals. Instead if we need a single skill we leverage one of our service providers- Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys, etc. i answered yes, but our contractors are not true “gig” workers since those providers typically have full time employeesCFO Advisory Director in Finance (non-banking)a year ago
Using agencies that are people centric in the processes can be expensive and time consuming. Software platforms now exist for allowing contractors and companies to engage and work together without human intervention. Not just simple talks like fivr and other do but qualified professionals ( like in pharmacists with locumate )CRO in Services (non-Government)9 months ago
Interesting discussion that i'd love to dive into more. Myself and my clients use agencies and contractors. There's been a big increase in fractional leaders - CMOs, CROs and CFOs post pandemic. It seems to make commercial sense for a lot of organisations.
