One of the biggest reasons firms can’t find quality information security people is that they refuse to pay for them. Far too many firms lowball salaries and then complain they can’t find people.

Firms that pay market rates for information security staff will not have that problem.

My biggest challenge has been encouraging collaboration and mutual understanding among team members of different generations, which I address through clear communication and mentorship programs.
