I am concerned about the potential for new, disruptive, expansive and uninformed intrusive government regulations of AI without sufficient understanding of the specific harms or risks involved or the technology itself.  For this reason, I strongly suggest that this is a case calling for the industry to come together itself in a new industry self-regulatory program with accountability mechanisms built in including all the leading companies active in the space.  A global Federal regulator with the supposed power to directly regulate AI has the potential to destroy innovation in this new area and solidify power only for the existing market leaders.

We have not used GenAI in our L&D strategy yet.  We are concerned with the accuracy of GenAI's output.
