I'm a big fan of doing it once a month. I like to make decisions based on data and analysis. By looking at finances and budgets regularly, I gather essential data and make it easier to manage the organisation agilely.

Of course, this approach will only work for some types of organisations and depends on the organisation's size.

Additionally:

- More frequent reviews might be necessary if your industry/company is rapidly changing.
- Long-term, capital-heavy projects benefit from annual planning.
- Agile, tech-focused projects need more frequent revisions.
