We recently had an ERP implementation, which was a great opportunity to reevaluate how tasks are being done. Our vendor offered numerous enhancements to streamline our processes. We are also exploring robotics and other technologies to automate manual input tasks, such as invoice processing. Our goal is to use technology to simplify processes, reduce clicks, and enable self-service wherever possible. Currently, we are not utilizing enough technology to streamline our workflows. However, about a year and a half ago, we purchased a chatbot for IT service management. This software was bought to improve both the student and employee experience, with a focus on help. In the future, I see companies replacing traditional intranets with generative AI for enterprise search. This technology will greatly enhance the employee experience. In terms of workflows, onboarding and offboarding are the most challenging in our environment. We also made a significant switch to Teams, which has enabled our employees to create their own workflows and templates, leading to increased efficiency.
