Do you think that Grok (from xAI/Elon Musk) will fill a gap in the market? Do we need a “rebellious” chatbot?

I think that as LLMs become easier and cheaper to train there will be a market fir almost anything. Grok will need to pass the test of relevance and contextual accuracy, along with proving the many concerns on information privacy that all generative AI is subject to. In other words, time will tell, we are at 10k of an ultramarathon.

A rebellious chatbot could appeal to users seeking an alternative to the more conventional, rule-abiding digital assistants. If it offers unique, innovative features or a distinct personality, it could attract a dedicated user base.
