PowerBI looks more modern, is included within our O365 licensing and appears to have all the same functionality we use/need within Tableau - without the licensing public/server limitations, overhead, hassle, needless complexity. It feels like a part of our ecosystem.

We are a big MS shop so Power BI was “almost free”. We still have Tableau and won’t likely force a migration off to Power BI. Unless some Finance person declares we need the savings…. Even though they won’t calculate the hours required to move off Tableau

Qlik has been used to several years now and very happy with the capabilities and performance.

If you have a full Gartner license, they have a benchmarking tool that maps out to your industry.  It was useful for my needs.
