Keeping up with the pace of change.  Companies need more agile and iterative project management to accomplish things faster while adapting to the constant change happening around them.  We are implementing non-traditional  project teams where PMs are more hands-on, part-of-the-solution resources and not just high-level task managers (an oversimplification btw).

The explosion of AI technology has scrambled the roadmap for PMs. We are adopting AI to drive practical applications of the technology for our users.

I think the biggest challenge is still the same challenge to be faced today, which is debility for leadership to empower their product management teams to actually have ownership Of their domain provided they are using data driven insights and are able to validate their hypothesis with experiments and more. There’s new cool technologies out there today without empowerment and breaking out of the hierarchal structure no no no no, these tools will just be enables for more bad behaviors.
