I plan to support non-profits that uplift underprivileged, underrepresented minorities, and the homeless, both through donations and volunteering in their projects.

However my longer term "volunteer" work would be doing Coral Restoration once this COVID is well past us.  
My wife and I always donate a few of our dives to maintaining the coral farm.

IMO, and in my world Pets abandoned and at risk of being euthanized should be within the list of random acts of kindness one should consider. I personally do, and continuously support charities that find homes for abandoned pets.

Donation for building a well in Africa. My wife did this last year and it was great seeing pictures of actual people in the village using it for their day-to-day needs.
