In your opinion what is the number one thing a supply chain leader can do to make their team's work LESS complicated?

Excellent question. Apply the "KISS" principle -- keep it simple stupid. I know that is cliche, but as leaders, we have to possess the ability to simplify the complex. Provide our direct reports with action-oriented activities while empowering them to make informed strategic decisions. The other option is to "ask" them directly how to minimize complexity in the work environment. Give them a voice in streamlining their own work activities and decision channels and promote a sense of community to seek out others for help. I hope this response provides a fresh perspective to your question.
1. Aligning KPI's
2. Increasing visibility
3. Accelerating decisions
4. Increasing collboration
5. Working more cross functionally - by design
