Once you establish a connection in person, then you don't need to meet as often. In the Washington, DC area, we meet at least once a quarter. Some people host at their house and say, "I'm opening my house. Come down."CIO in Education5 months ago
We got so overwhelmed with using virtual meetings during the pandemic that I just have an aversion for them now. My experience is kind of similar. In-person interaction gives you a richer experience, but once you have met somebody in person, it's much easier to use technology to continue that relationship. Quite often, our ability to talk openly about the challenges and issues are a little bit more reserved when we are only doing it through technology.CIO5 months ago
