There are 3 ways we use:
1. We have subscribed to Advisory services who does quarterly sessions for our team on new trends and art of possible
2. We have created our own start-up eco system in targeted technologies and mutual learning happens in our interactions
3. There is a conference and exhibition attending calendar we follow so that we know what new solutions are getting introduced in market

As a part of IT strategy we keep a 4 quadrant chart.  Technologies we are:
- Watching
- Piloting
- Ignoring
- Deploying
These are aligned to our business.  The one way to keep teams engaged with newer technology is to have them pilot things and learn more.  If they are going to pilot, teams pay attention to what is out there through advisory groups, insurtech space, startups and vendor partners.

We take a similar approach, and track emerging technologies that are aligned to our various business needs and work them through a backlog.  We groom the backlog often to ensure we are working on the ones that could deliver the most value and impact for our organization.

Building internal development communities - owned and driven by the tech community  or the architects (No management involvement other than support)

Participating in conferences, both as an attendee and as a thought leader (speaker) and also create role models within the company
