It's important to be able to recognize the biases and then cabin them so they don't adversely influence decision making. Once recognized and stored safely away, a refocus on the substance of the issue will help stay on track and lead to good faith, unbiased decisions.

Listen on, read up with and attend DEI courses or seminars on such biases and stereotypes and attend corporate led or external trainings around sensitivities to the same. Seek out and speak to folks with such backgrounds and understand their perspectives. Join relevant focus discussions at lunch or on channels like in Slack.  Research relevant articles online.
