Any recommendations for tools that help with keeping track of application version, vendor, reseller, status of application, owner, contract start and end dates? I know that ServiceNow has some features to keep track of software but I wonder if there are others.

We have internally developed own tool  based on Sharepoint Online.

We implemented the SAM module in ServiceNow for Server based software and will be moving to End User Software assets next.

I guess this would depend a lot on company objectives, but it could be as simple as utilizing Spiceworks.
