In the future we plan to implement a close management system like Blackline or Trintech.  As we standardize our process and policy in preparation. Will you share examples of Journal Entry policies and templates that align with the templates provided by these systems?

We use blackline for posting our journals in SAP. We have standard templates that captures company code, cost center and journal type which is uploaded in blackline for posting. These templates will be customized by blackline team during implementation.

Of course the vendor should provide and does provide templates that enable the process.
Question is however unclear as to who provides the templates. - the product vendor ? The implementation partner ? Other ?

Please understand that I’m all cases the templates provided by the vendor will need some level of customization specific to the chart and terminology used.

The implementation team generally provide standard templates and JV policies which company needs to review and provide their feedback to align with it standard processes and policies. The implementation team can then customize the system to neet the company requirements.
