I'm seeing a shift from DEI to IDE; inclusion is beginning to come first. It's a positive shift, because you can be as diverse as you want and still not be inclusive. It's kind of like neighborhoods in New York City: You can have a bunch of neighborhoods right next to each other, but you still don't feel like it's inclusive because everybody's confined to their own neighborhood. This shift to making inclusion a priority everywhere is refreshing.Global CIO in Telecommunication2 years ago

We start every meeting with 5 or more participants with a DEI tip. In that meeting, we usually learn about a cultural holiday or recognize a coworker for a special contribution. This was not part of the conversation previously and it is enlightening to see this top of mind and gives perspective to the discussion start a meeting like this. Everyone starts with an open mind. Not much, expect that we are seeing increased compliance reports asking for slice and dice of many inclusion (we call it positive discrimination) for segments which is slightly extended version of DEIManager in Construction2 years ago
