We always say diversity is an issue. I feel it's not if you try and pick the right resource. Diversity is not always male and female. Its beyond it. I worked at Target in usa. Well diversed. Oyo in India. Well diversed.
It's the mindset which needs a bump up. Right set if resources for right job. Females are more than equally competitive. Multiple svp and vp.

I don’t know that I have anything to offer here other than it starts with K-12. For me the lack of diversity that we need to solve is getting women in technical roles and that starts at K-12. We have ethnic, but not gender diveristy. I've even done reach-out to https://girlswhocode.com but I get radio silence. I heard the head of that organization at the Gartner Leadership Forum a number of years ago and that's how I heard of them. My 2 cents

We can't be what we can't see..so it is crucial to engage students with diverse tech professionals, showcasing a spectrum of roles within the industry.
Implement mentorship programs connecting students with tech professionals, organize industry field trips, and collaborate with tech organizations to provide students with firsthand insights into tech workplaces and opportunities. Highlight the diversity of career pathways in tech, promote role models from underrepresented backgrounds, and facilitate networking events for students to interact with professionals inspiring students to pursue STEM careers.
