I believe you need to come up with sustainable operations and initiatives that align with your business. You must illustrate the impact and put the numbers in front of somebody so they can tangibly see the connection. If you say this is improving our bottom line because you can see xyz or our hiring practices have improved because of xyz and our margins have improved at the gross level because of certain grants or subsidies that we've been able to take advantage of, etc. You can’t combat and say I disagree with you when the data is shown right here.CFO Advisory Director in Finance (non-banking)a year ago
Sustainably is such a large global challenge , every C level executive will need to “lean in”. Finance may well be the logical place ( due to data) to house the data but it will take all. And the CEO and Board of Directors will need to lead from the front.
