I think the results here are interesting, and while i generally agree, I think it's important to note that the cyber risk for every organization varies from verticle to verticle. Also, removing admin privileges from users and having IT staff check out passwords from a "password vault" should be a common best practice.

I am surprised by the result since it has been my experience in all organisations that executives and "VIPs" are the biggest exception creators.

Consultants/contractors with the view that third parties:

1. Are less likely to receive your organisations' training
2. Create an 'unknown variable' as they connect or integrate with your systems
3. Are less likely to be aware of organisational standards, policies
4. And, depending on how they get integrated with your environment, (e.g. shadow IT) are sometimes subject to a reduced level of security controls
