Yes - Maine did the right thing. There are too many security risks with free versions of these tools. Not enough copyright or privacy protections of data.25%

No, but.... - You must have good security and privacy policies in place for ChatGPT (and other GenAI apps). My organization has policies and meaningful ways to enforce those policies and procedures for staff.54%

Yes, i think before the organizations and the whole world understands the privacy concern of using gpt.models , it should be restricted to personal use and discretion..
Let companies set internal versions with their data so that they don't need to publish their context to outside world.

Shadow IT is real and a major driver of change. People who have been in this space for some years remember Blackberry devices dominance until touch screen phones were used by employees. 

Prohibiting AI's use will not prevent it. 

Convening a nonjudgmental employee meeting to see how staff would like to use the technology would be better than a ban. Additionally, the employee input could be illuminating for the decision makers who are usually several layers removed from the hands-on work.  Gathering the input is nearly free, consulting help can be engaged later if warranted.

We are all professionals in our fields, and we know how to surround ourselves with vertical expertise in the necessary domains to responsibly and consciously tackle these innovations. We are aware of the risks of adoption, but this is precisely why our companies call upon us to evaluate and understand the best methods to embark on these paths.

Banning, like the prohibition of past times, belongs to other areas that I define as geological.
