I use Scaled Agile for its comprehensive ideas and formalization of top to bottom process.  I've never implemented full Scaled Agile at an organization as I have never been at an org that was 100% top to bottom bought in on making it work.

However, having a wholly comprehensive and cohesive strategy documented can be helpful.

I think about it like a fully functional recipe or assembly manual, where I can look at strategies holistically.  

Often, when we try to design a comprehensive process, we do not foresee the ways various ideas may not mesh with each other. Scaled Agile can provide _a way_ that may assist you in formulating your own process.
