It’s based on the level & industry. Maybe don’t have more pages than years of experience.

I wouldn’t put a specific number on it. As long as it’s representative of your experience and not just endless filler, it should be as long as it needs to be to adequately represents you.

It definitely depends on the position and experience of the individual. 1-2 pages is appropriate for entry and mid level positions. 1-4 (or more) pages for senior or advanced positions. Reviewing a resume, I give the most time to the first page and cover letter.

1 page for a person out of school. For senior executives, I would focus on content and not on size

For most resumes, 2 is enough. For a well-experienced IT pro, 3 is the max.

Industry Standard is One Page (inexperienced candidates), Two Pages (for the majority of the market / candidates), and Three Pages (for deeply experienced and/or technical candidates).
