When it comes to GenAI , in most cases it is about efficiency and quality of documentation/communication. Try to find repetitive task which are document/communication driven as a first start and automate them with GenAI. Aka, GenAI can bring more empathy in the communication with patients and can make it more understandable for patients, which eases the workload for nurses or doctors.

Knowledge based search is my recommendation. It leverages the data you already have, which hopefully has been approved/validated. Its relatively easy to build and deploy.
