This is not purely a warehouse initiative, but balancing the sales pacing has helped us a lot to reduce our costs. Let’s say 70 % of the volume is concentrated at the end of the month; that generates a lot of inefficiencies. Balancing the sales pacing across the month/week solves a lot of our issues. Another project we have successfully implemented is a VNA solution to take advantage of warehouse space and be more efficient. In this project, we reduced our layout, which decreased costs since we previously paid for overflow space by taking advantage of density. We also globally have the Cost to Deliver project, which has brought substantial savings to the APAC business.Supply Chain Manager10 months ago
