We haven't eliminated them, but we now require either a degree or equivalent experience. While I value degrees, I don't see it as an absolute necessity. I'm more interested in the person and their problem-solving approach. I would say the applicant pool has significantly increased since we moved away from degree requirements.IT Director, Supply Chain Digital in Manufacturinga year ago

In certain roles, we've been reconsidering the necessity of a college degree and, instead, emphasizing the value of experience and certifications. Recently, engineers don't have a BSc in Computer Science like they used to, so I eliminated the college degree requirements for any Engineering job posting. This has brought us more candidates since the engineers who are in the program can come from any career path.Mission Diplomatic Technology Officer in Governmenta year ago
We have eliminated the minimum requirement. However, having a degree does provide for additional points toward rank selection and starting pay.
