What is your overall experience with the Miro (Digital Whiteboard, Visualization, and Collaboration solution) application (performance, features, add-on applications)? We use it quite intensively in our company and would love to hear your experiences.

I haven't had a lot of success with it or with its competitors. The challenge is not necessarily with MIro but rather with virtual whiteboard technology. We have found that without the ease of picking up a whiteboard marker and being able to draw it creates some friction. The focus turns to how to draw a better circle with a mouse than the conversation. It may just be our environment, but that has been our experience.

I love it - useful for training and workshops where brainstorming is required.

When looking at technologies like Miro, Mural, etc., the secret is in the planning, design and ultimately facilitation of the meeting where they are used. I've used these tools as a way to bring virtual teams together around numerous challenges - from wildly complex to straightforward.

Most of the time, people use these tools for synchronous meetings. I've recently discovered how great they are for asynchronous workshops. It's a hugely powerful way to get people to engage in a discussion when they are unable to attend a meeting due to operational or time zone constraints.

Speaking from a selfish standpoint, the best part is that the content is digital. So much easier to synthesize than dozens of physical Post-It notes stuck to a wall.

Thanks Colleagues for valuable feedback!

I'm observing some challenges in collaboration with Miro as a company, from the other hand I'm quite sure others are similar.
So conclusion, treat as just one more tool in portfolio and don't expect too much

Not sure on comparison, but one of our client is using GE’s Flow Safe Pipeline control system. Seems my point of contacts are happy with it.
