We've implemented a Change Advisory Board (CAB), which includes change management processes. Whenever we make changes to cloud configurations or anything related, we must present, discuss, and obtain approval for those changes. This is because it's now so easy to add or change anything. Every month you have a new capacity and new possibilities. By monitoring and controlling these changes, we ensure we have control and we know when and who did it. We've focused on optimizing cloud resource usage. Here are few things we’ve done:- Right-sizing resources to match the actual needs and avoid overprovisioning.
- Implementing autoscaling to dynamically adjust resource allocation based on cost-saving solutions like reserved instances (especially if you’re running community workloads, then you can tweak them appropriately.
- Serverless computing, so on-demand, computing resources and then reviewing and terminating unused or underutilized resources on a regular basis.

To add on to that, we had to implement some code review for Kubernetes because there were certain containers that were consuming a significant amount of capacity. This required some changes to bring them back down in line so they still do what they need to do but are more efficient.
