What are the main challenges you face with using cloud cms?

Backup and restore. Often all or nothing, lack of granularity, lack of easy cloning of environments for test purposes

This was with GoDaddy.
Research into others before going to a self hosted (using a cloud VM) solution did not reveal any party with a guaranteed set of features, SLA, and price, to make it worthwhile trying them out (Every party tested would take x hours, while just running our own solution was relatively straightforward with a Droplet from DigitalOcean)
