I lead the Talent Development team at a global insurance carrier. We currently use Cornerstone's LMS and are evaluating Workday's LMS. Has anyone recently chosen between these two LMS/ LXP providers? Would any Workday LMS customers be open to a brief discussion about how it's going?
Thanks . We already have LinkedIn Learning so that would be our plan as well. Are you happy with WD's LMS? Are there any pain points you would warn others about?
Hi Katherine, so far it is OK but you have to be very strict on your implementation partner to really come with examples and recommendations based on your needs. WD is not that easy to configure as extreme customization is possible as all is 'vanilla' and we started not even knowing what the tool could do. The answer is often ' you need to tell what you want' instead of like with SuccessFactors you would see a best in class example and you continue on that basis. Be demanding on your reporting requirements (CSRD etc) and on the user friendliness for your learning team and SME's.
My recommendation is to conduct a thorough "as-is" and "to-be" analysis, considering your organization's people and learning aspirations for at least the next 2 years. This will help in evaluating and selecting the right tool. Pay close attention to the potential plug-ins, xAPI compatibility, and learning analytics features, as these elements are crucial and can become significant challenges later on.
Although I don't have direct experience with Workday's LMS, I hope these insights help guide your decision-making process before onboarding the tool.
Thanks Amrita!
Thanks Dan!
