Minimal to slight worse impact. Given that we gave Russia a heads up that he was coming, if they wanted to do something already, they would have. With that said, it just gives yet another excuse to turn up the rhetoric (and the attacks, as it were).

I’m concerned it might escalate Chinas support of Russia. Thus far China hasn’t been too involved but Bidens visit may escalate the political tensions with China

It will help the people in Ukraine know that the United States has it's back, and so does the rest of the world. As far as overall impact, it will not have any. It's no secret the US supports democracy and Ukraine and Russia, and China supports the authoritarian rule.
