My experience is that 50% of the jobs go unfilled due to firms not paying close to market rates for the position.Just today, I had a recruiter email me about a Smart Grid Command Center Engineer. I reminded him this is the spot he reached out to me four months ago. I explained then, and again today, that they will never find someone at the offered salary of $65,000.
