Outside of PowerPoint, has anyone worked with an Enterprise Reference Architecture tool to build and display in graphic format the EA Ref Architecture blueprint of the organization?

Some popular ERA tools in the market include Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect, Software AG's ARIS, MEGA International HOPEX, and IBM Rational System Architect, among others. The choice of tool depends on specific organizational requirements, budget, and familiarity with the tool's features and capabilities.

Yes (Sparx currently, Archimate tool previously, MEGA even before that) and still PowerPoint is my main tool to bring this to the outside world. Modelling tools are for modelling, it allows architects to represent things in a structured manner that they can (hopefully) correctly interpret without having to ask for voice-over. It is for deducing issues, gaps, etc.

But once it is to be shared with others, rebranding the results into PowerPoint is much more effective than trying to give a voice-over on how to interpret the symbols and relations that are used in the modelling tool.

As said, results are the key to keep the success going. Measuring it might differ on the expectations of either quantitative or qualitative approach that the venture is expecting.
