Generative AI can be incredibly helpful depending on the subject. How proprietary and unusual is the process? You might be surprised at how well generative AI tools like ChatGPT can get you to 70-80% complete in record time if there is commonality with the training data etc.Director of Other in Softwarea year ago
There are several ways of doing that....do you have tech, such as process and task mining available to you? If yes, that's going to accelerate this activity significantly and takes the guess game out of it. If not, we used to take the SIPOC approach and documented ever process on that level. I also used a process framework from APQC that gives you an idea of process your organization most likely will have.
