If you mean ITSM service desk software we were very happy with Service Now hosted in their cloud. Highly recommend you stick to their standard configuration as much as possible to make future transitions to upgrades easier

We continue to struggle with discovery of assets but that is primarily a skill problem on our side and the fact we “tweaked” the CMDB fields against my recommendation

I recommend Service-Now for IT Service Management (ITSM). It offers a modular platform enabling the addition of various modules that seamlessly integrate with one another. These modules cover areas such as Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Procurement, HR, and more. It's user-friendly for both end-users and administrators, allowing easy configuration and customization. Moreover, it supports integration with numerous third-party systems. The only downside is its pricing.

We couldn’t find a silver bullet single vendor solution so we ended up building our own using several SaaS services, AWS Lambda and several AWS generative AI tools.  We are a MSP with complex ITSM needs and are sharing this work with the community without charge.  See http://cascadeo.ai if interested.

ServiceNow is great, but watch out for the UX. If the end users are overlooked during the configuration process, it can lead to negative experiences. (Obviously true for nearly everything but SN seems to be especially challenging)
HaloITSM is working well for us here, with high levels of user satisfaction
