You are the CEO of a large social media platform with billions of users and you can add a new “reaction” to tag the content. There is no reaction to tag a post as “fake” or “no-true”. Would you make the decision to add it? Why?

I am not sure I understand this question. Might it possible to elucidate or restate it?CEO in Services (non-Government)a year ago
Sorry, simply would you add a way for users of social media to tag content as “fake” (besides the usual like, thumbs up, love, etc)

As a user, I would love to see this...but as a technology owner, I see how difficult it can be to moderate as what is "fake" is not always based on clear facts, but instead opinions.

Interesting Question :) As the CEO of a major social media platform, adding a "fake" or "not true" reaction raises concerns. While the intention is to combat misinformation, this feature could be misused, potentially stifling diverse viewpoints and leading to further polarization. Verifying the accuracy of such tags is challenging, and there could be legal implications. Instead, a more holistic approach might involve partnering with third-party fact-checkers and promoting media literacy among users. The complexity and potential unintended consequences suggest caution before implementing such a reaction.Program Manager II in Healthcare and Biotech10 months ago
As the CEO of a large social media platform, my decision to add a "fake" or "no-true" reaction would be based on promoting a positive user experience and ensuring the dissemination of accurate information. Considering the responsibility we have towards our users, I would lean towards adding such a reaction.
