We are over a year into the pandemic. If Covid-19 is still the transformation driver you need to learn more about or expect more from your technology leadership. That shark has been jumped.Director of Technology Strategy in Services (non-Government)3 years ago
I'm very much of the view that covid-19 did not drive much digital transformation, if any. It may have forced digital adoption, but transformation is more than just being able to work from home.
I also don't necessarily think the CIO/CTO drove it. DT is a business outcome, not a tech one (it's all about the people). The CIO/CTO may have facilitated some of the work to transform, but the itmist have been enabled by some clear opportunities to solve.

The results so far, CIO/CTO doing most of the driving, is a lot of the problem we face!!! It needs to be the CEO driving it.CEO in Services (non-Government)3 years ago
Savvy CEOs understand that DT isn't about an IT strategy or digital technology . It's about leveraging evolving technologies to create and deliver more value .CIO / Managing Partner in Manufacturing3 years ago
I would argue it has a lot to do with changing the way a company behaves and focuses on the customer to deliver that value. As you say technology is an enabler.

The ceo of my company is the driving force of my company digital transformation because what the ceo of a company does with the CEO company is what first determine the success of the company.
