We used a tool called GENEYSYS Conferencing as early as 2005.  Later we were early SKYPE users enterprise wide, back in 2009 or 2010, and then made the move to Teams.  In my opinion SKYPE was better than TEAMS for meetings. However both platforms lack the robust meeting management tools that WEBEX has.  And for hosting meetings with external parties outside of the company I still find that WEBEX is a much better platform.   It seems like the developers of each of the major platforms never test out the competitor's products.  And they certainly don't host larger meetings (over 4-5 people) where being able to mute all participants quickly, to create polls and questions on the fly, to create those same questions and polls and save them for later are important.  WEBEX to me is the "real" remote meeting and collaboration tool.  The others have a long way to go.

Some of the decision depends upon the email platform. Both Microsoft and Google include a collaboration solution in the platform. For many companies, that is enough for them.
