Gen Zs want to work less than Gen Xers did. The only way companies can afford that is if employees become more efficient. Maybe that 4-day workweek will be possible. More likely, companies will expect employees to deliver more of the same or they will cut employees and still get the same amount of work done.

Outright prohibition is delaying the inevitable. However, I also think that allowing for ALL uses of these solutions can be tricky and loaded with potential pitfalls. Accordingly, I think putting in place clear and practical guardrails for use of these solutions for the time being makes sense especially regarding what data you provide to these solutions.

I laughed at blanket prohibition, but its so true. (Generally speaking) I think depending on the industry, the resources, and trust/confidence in the technology there are just some industries or businesses who may stay in a prohibition state, which is ok....for now. For some folks its a lot to take on, educate yourself and make informed decisions while continuing to run their businesses. It can feel like turning the Titanic and can be a daunting task. It's important to keep the discussions going and continuing to make progress. If you feel like you are falling behind, I would encourage you to reach out to a trusted industry expert on this topic.
