I run my own training and consulting so I do agree because I get to choose the project and where I want to spend my time on, however, why it is not "Strongly Agree" is because I still have to operate in an environment that is greatly dependent on government enacted policies, both good and bad.

Based on your experience, which is better when data is being updated in a SQL instance every 15 minutes and I want to create Power BI Visuals, should I direct connect to the database or import to the Semantic Model and refresh after each DB update?
